The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a yearly national-level banking exam for candidates who want to work for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). According to the IBPS Exam Calendar, IBPS will conduct the IBPS RRB Clerk Preliminary Exam 2024 on 3rd, 4th, 10th, 17th, and 18th August 2024. IBPS Clerk Notification 2024 – Prerequisites for Applying Online
Before applying online, candidates should,
- Scan their signature and photographs. The candidate must ensure that both the photograph (4.5 cms x 3.5 cms) and signature adhere to the specifications mentioned.
- CAPITAL LETTERS signature will not be accepted
- Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make the online payment.
- Must have a valid personal email ID. This should be maintained till the completion of the recruitment process.
Steps to Apply for IBPS RRB Assistant Exam Online

Step1 – Go to www.ibps.in website
Step 2 – Click on the homepage
Step 3 – Open ‘CRP for RRBs’ and click ‘Click here to apply online for CRP RRBs Officer Assistants (Multipurpose) to open the online application form.
Step 4 – Click on ‘Click here for new registration’ and register by entering the necessary information. A provisional registration number and password is displayed on the screen. Note this down. The registration number and password is sent through SMS and Email.
Step 5 – Upload photograph and signature as per specifications
Step 6 – Indicate state for provisional allotment.
Step 7 – Before submitting use ‘save and next’ to verify and modify details if required
Step 8 – Hit the ‘Final Submit’ button once you have verified your details
Step 9 – Pay the fee/intimation charges online.

How to download the IBPS RRB Clerk Admit Card?
The successfully registered candidates can download the admit card by following the mentioned steps.
- Click the given link https://www.ibps.in/.
- Then enter the Registration Number that you have received in your mail id after filling the application form.
- In the next step, enter your birth date and security OTP in the required boxes.
- Now you will have access to view and download the E- Hall Ticket.
- Download the IBPS RRB Clerk Admit Card and take a printout.

Exam Day Guidelines of IBPS RRB Clerk Examination
The candidates should strictly follow the guidelines given by the examining authority to avoid any mishap. The candidates must follow the COVID-19 guidelines along with precautionary steps. Candidates should keep the following guidelines in mind before going to the examination centres:
- Report to the examination centres atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time as mentioned in the admit card.
- Social distancing and wearing masks is compulsory for the candidates to restrict the spread of COVID-19.
- Candidates should bring their original admit card along with passport-size photographs.
- Original copy of an identity card like the Aadhaar card or voter card or any other identity proof along with the hall ticket.
- Photocopies of Identity proof or Admit Card are strictly prohibited.
- Do not bring anything other than a water bottle, admit card, and identity proof. No need to bring a pen or pencil. These will be provided in the examination hall itself.
